Professional Experience: After completing my medical training, I had a 34 year-long career in clinical neurology in multiple settings that included private practice, multi-specialty group practice, health maintenance organizations, and academic medicine. The academic segment of my career was principally at Georgetown University where I was an Associate Professor of Neurology and Medicine and a Senior Ethics Consultant in the University Hospital.
